• Assignment by BCP team leader of the team members and assignment of the responsibility for resumption actions specific to every major operational or functional area within the department
• Identification of the critical functions, the hardware and software supporting each function, the impact that the disruption or loss of the function would have on the overall operations
• Definition of the actions necessary to safeguard and restore core business functions
• Procedures for obtaining alternative office space, equipment and supplies
• Documentation of sample emergency exercises
